HASSAN DERGHAM
PRINCIPLE ARCHITECT CO-FOUNDER Studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, Italy and obtained the "Laurea di Dottore" in architecture with the merit of 98/100 in architecture in 1991. In 1992, he obtained the license to practice the profession of architecture in Lebanon, the state license the practice the profession in Italy at the European Union, and affiliated to the Order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon, his professional career started in 1991 at the engineering office of Andrea Lenzi in Italy, in addition of working as a technical consultant for the Graziano Cester company. Between 1993 and 1997, Hassan Dergham established his own practice in Beirut and worked as a technical engineer at the municipality of Ghobeiry. In 1998, D&H was born after his association with the civil engineer Youssef Hamdar.
YOUSSEF HAMDAR
CIVIL ENGINEER - CO-FOUNDER Obtained his master's degree in civil engineering from the Rettore Dell's Universita Dedli Studi Di Napoli in Napoli, Italy in 1988. In 1989 he moved from Italy to France where he obtained his license to practice the profession of civil engineering in and started his career path in Euro Disney, Paris-France. He settled in Paris for 4 years until 1993. In parallel with his professional practice in Europe, he joined the Order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon in 1990 and set up his own office in Beirut later in 1994, and worked as a consultant engineer for the municipality of Ghobeiry. In 1998, he partnered with Hassan Dargham and formed D&H. Today, d&h associates have grown into a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, planners and designers with a portfolio spanning a large list of projects located in Lebanon and abroad.
